Holistic and Natural
The main foundations of our training are continuous breath, natural movement, strong stable posture, and physical/emotional relaxation. No yelling or aggressive mannerisms, no unnatural rigid stances, and no excessive or flashy movements. To this aim students learn to be calm, relaxed , strong, and in control ;mentally, physically, and emotionally in stressful and traumatic situations.
Relevant and modern
The actions, mannerisms, and expected behaviours learned by the students are directly transferable to their life outside the school. We train in everyday clothes, shake hands instead of bowing, issue certificates and badges instead of belts, stand naturally and converse in a respectfull friendly manner. We laugh, cry, and have lots of fun.
Principle-based Training
our students are taught fundamental training principles through drills and exercises which are designed to develop spontaneous movements and rapid decision-making. Through this dynamic training process students, learn to use continuous breath and movement as tools to calmly and effectively think, act, and therefore survive. Students enjoy the play-like atmosphere and with no class alike, remain interested longer than when in repetitive classes.
Health and fitness
Through challenging functional exercises and unique breathwork, students quickly develop balance, strength, endurance, and flexibility and learn how to remove physical and emotional tension. These abilities enable them to deal with and recover from the effects of physical injury, everyday stress and emotional traumas. To provide a complete set of healthy living skills we also introduce topics such as massage , dousing, and relaxation techniques.
Life skills education
One of the most important parts of training is simply learning to be a good person. Students explore and learn to control/understand emotions such as fear, anger, pride, jealousy, and frustration. They learn the importance of patience, courage, focus, respect and empathy. They gain confidence, self respect, and emotional balance. Through a combination of in class lessons, individual instruction, and out of class/online assignments each student learns that they are individuals connected to a larger family, community, country, and ultimately world.
Practical and effective
Our professional methodology is used by special military units, police, bodyguards, etc. The extensive curriculum includes self defense and survival training for almost all imaginable situations. Class content is structured specifically to make students feel comfortable with a variety of skills including ;defending while standing, sitting, and on the ground, falling and rolling on any surface, moving from multiple opponents, striking and avoiding strikes, weapons work, grappling/wrestling , in confined spaces , working when injured , and much more. Training is usually held inside the school but special classes will be held outside and at different locations for a complete learning experience.
