You can also arrange to talk to the instructor outside of class times, just call to make an appointment.
What to wear
To start, students may wear any clean comfortable pants and plain t-shirt. Eventually, students must provide a collared shirt(golf shirt) of dark colour as A designated training shirt
Clean non marking soft shoes may also be worn.
We will try to give as much notice as possible but students should be prepared to train outside at anytime.
Levels of achievement
unlike traditional martial art schools we do not issue belts to denote a student’s progress. However, students must still meet certain behavioral and technical skill requirements before recieving instruction in the more advanced topics.
There are 4 skill set levels ranging from introductory level 1 to advanced Level 4. Upon completion of each level students are awarded a frameable certificate and simple badge. In place of formalized testing students are continuously evaluated on their skills and participate in several demo/video projects in which they demonstrate their abilities. This process helps students learn the discipline, focus and responsibility necessary to set and achieve goals , acknowledges their achievements, and gives parents and family members a visual record of their progress.
